Live-In House Manager – Denton Freedom House Women’s Home
Join our faith-based team at the Denton Freedom House Women’s Home! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-In House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential program. This vital role provides a safe, supportive, and Christ-centered environment for women in need.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the house, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to guidelines.
- Support program implementation and resident intake.
- Foster a strong sense of community and provide nurturing care.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to residents.
- Handle administrative tasks and maintain records.
- Lead faith-based activities and provide spiritual support.
- Respond to emergencies 24/7 and manage overnight shifts.
Qualifications:
- Must be a committed Christian and believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

This live-in position requires the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergencies 24/7.
WOW (Woman On Watch) – Denton Freedom House Women’s Home
Join our faith-based team at the Denton Freedom House Women’s Home as a WOW (Woman On Watch)! We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to shepherd residents through the initial phase of our discipleship program. The WOW provides comprehensive support, guidance, and care, fostering growth and transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee the Phase 1 program, ensuring a safe and structured environment.
- Provide individual and group support, addressing residents’ emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Monitor progress, facilitate conflict resolution, and provide crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with staff and community partners.
- Lead faith-based activities and provide spiritual guidance.
- Participate in community events/outings.

Transportation/Fleet Coordinator
Location: Denton Freedom House, Denton, Texas Employment Type: Full-Time
Overview: Denton Freedom House is seeking a proactive and dedicated Transportation/Fleet Coordinator to join our team. This role involves managing the organization’s vehicle fleet, facilitating the transportation of goods and residents, and supporting the logistics of our food pantry and residential programs. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly alongside our residents, leading by example and encouraging them to work with their hands as if unto God and not man. We are seeking someone who feels called to ministry work and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance, scheduling, and daily operations of the organization’s vehicle fleet.
- Coordinate and carry out the pickup and delivery of food, furniture, and other residential donations.
- Provide or arrange transportation for residents to work, court, medical appointments, and other essential commitments.
- Safely operate a pallet jack and assist with moving and organizing heavy items.
- Mentor and lead residents, working alongside them to teach skills, encourage growth, and model a strong work ethic grounded in faith.
- Inspire and encourage residents through a servant-hearted approach, fostering a supportive and uplifting environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient transportation logistics.
- Maintain thorough records of vehicle use, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption.
- Adhere to safety and transportation regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items (up to 50 lbs) using appropriate tools or equipment.
- Experience with mechanical maintenance is a plus, though not required (training available).
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A servant-hearted attitude, with a genuine commitment to serving others and embracing the mission of Denton Freedom House.
