Learn MoreAbout Our Story
The Denton Freedom House was founded in the home of Jeremy and Karen Adams and their children. Their passion for the lost was birthed out of their own story of redemption and the compassion they felt for those that are rejected, hopeless, and written off by society. It started with one man in 2004 and has grown into a regional and international work that has affected the lives of thousands of people.

Our Vision
To preach good news to the poor, to proclaim liberty to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, and set free those that are oppressed, and proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.
Jesus of Nazareth
To liberate the broken from their bondage of sin and addiction by the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to equip them to become prosperous disciples of Christ with Kingdom vision, purpose and direction.
DFH Mission Statement
Our Model
We believe that the core issue in alcohol and substance abuse is a spiritual one that is overcome by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Most people that find themselves in need of rehabilitation have reached a point where they cannot recover on their own, independent of the help of others, and most have burned all of their bridges. They are bound to fall back into the same cycle of addiction, turn to the same old patterns of behavior, and the same negative associations, unless they experience an entire life change and forge new and healthy relationships in a community of faith.
We provide a residential approach, free of charge, that brings the resident into relationship with others that have found the way out and can model what a godly home, marriage, and family is supposed to look like. We covenant to walk with every man that comes into the ministry of the Denton Freedom House through every phase of his rehabilitation and maturation, until together we walk across the finish line of life and hear the words of our Saviour say, “well done good and faithful servant…enter into the joy of the Lord!”
Our Impact An Approach of Excellence
We are constantly measuring ourselves against the standard of Christ’s faithfulness and the Word of God, that we might more faithfully bring greater opportunity to those who need it the most.
